Support Local Organizations

Support Local Food Banks & Food Rescues

Local food banks are asking for individuals to assist with packing food kits for vulnerable populations and those whom regularly experience food insecurity. Learn more by visiting your local Food Bank's webpage or Feeding America.

Another helpful resource for those in the Pittsburgh Area is utilizing 412 Food Rescue.

Donate Blood

Right now, the American Red Cross has an ongoing critical need for blood product donations as uncertainties remain during this coronavirus pandemic. Blood drives continue to be canceled at an alarming rate and patients need a sufficient blood supply throughout the many weeks of this crisis and beyond. Healthy individuals are needed to schedule an appointment to give in the days and weeks ahead to help patients counting on lifesaving blood, platelets or AB Elite plasma. Animal Shelters

Many animals are in shelters and could use temporary homes during this time. Reach out to local Humane Societies or Shelters to learn how you can support the animal population during this time.
